  1. You know, you might just be the only person I've ever seen PRAISE William Shatner's acting, but I think you have a point there.

I love this project so far, keep up the good work!

    1. Thanks for the good wishes!

I am increasingly finding William Shatner to be the most watchable thing on display here. The rest of the cast is very strong, but they don't always leave as immediate an impression as he does (although they do quickly up their game after "Where No Man Has Gone Before"). And really, someone as delightfully campy as Shatner is a relief coming off of the wannabe John Wayne and Charlton Heston posturing of "The Cage".

Shatner may not be the single reason Star Trek went to series and became iconic in pop culture, but I definitely think he's one of the most important.

  3. Is, uh, is that button supposed to go to a thing? Like say, a thing about Shatner's acting? Because it doesn't, and I sure would like to read about whatever that above comment is talking about.

    1. Also for any future readers that are likewise confused — the thing that that button does is saved on the Wayback Machine! It's a series of individual-episode essays presented in different orders using the interactive story format. The illustrating images seem to not wort, but are /also/ saved there, though I've had to open them and look them up manually
