This sounds like brilliant writing regarding the side characters. I've got that...I love your posts on the comics. I've got that excellent DVD-Rom collection, and I wade through it from time to time. There's so much stuff, it's great to have some recommendations of what to look at (and what not to look at). I've already made my way about halfway through the first volume of DC's TNG, and it's a lot of fun. Also, it's a kick reading the letters page and the comments from the writers/editors.
